Junior Sales Executive – Venue & Events | Cape Town Introduction Join a leading luxury hotel in Cape Town as a Junior Sales Executive specialising in venue and events sales within the dynamic hospitality industry. Job Requirements Proactively source, engage, and secure new sales opportunities for Newmark Waterfront restaurants and conference venues. Create tailored proposals and presentations for events ; activations, weddings, meetings, and private functions. Conduct and host professional site inspections for clients. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop event‑specific campaigns and content. Attend industry networking events, trade shows, and hospitality activations. Maintain an accurate database of leads, contacts, and activities using approved Newmark tools. Work closely with operations and F&B teams to ensure seamless event execution. Achieve individual and team sales targets. Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in F&B, events ; product launches, or wedding coordination. Strong interpersonal, presentation, writing, and communication skills. Excellent organisational and time‑management abilities; detail‑oriented and proactive. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays when required.
