Job Summary
A well- established Tourism Company is looking for a highly organised, detail-driven Rates & Contracting Administrator to join our Commercial Trade team. This role is responsible for turning new travel trade enquiries into active, qualified partners — managing the process from onboarding and qualification through to contracting, profile creation, rate loading and commission activation . Key Responsibilities Onboard and qualify new travel trade partners. Manage contracts from preparation through to completion and ongoing amendments. Create and maintain accurate partner profiles, rates, commissions and commercial terms. Manage seasonal rates, promotions and contract updates. Ensure rates, contracts and system information are accurate and aligned. Follow up outstanding documentation and keep records up to date. Assist with commission queries and partner setup. Work closely with Reservations, Finance, Revenue and the Commercial Trade team. Provide contracting reports and general administrative support. What We’re Looking For You’ll ideally have experience in a hotel/lodge contracting department, tour operator, DMC, reservations or commercial travel environment . We’re looking for someone who is: Highly organised, accurate and detail-oriented. Comfortable working with rates, percentages, contracts and commercial terms. Strong on Excel, systems and administration. Confident communicating with trade partners and internal teams. Proactive; dependable and excellent at follow-up. Commercially minded with a strong understanding of the travel trade. Required Experience Previous experience in hospitality, tourism or the travel trade. Experience in rates, contracting, reservations or trade administration. Good understanding of tour operator/travel trade relationships. Strong Microsoft Office and Excel skills. Excellent communication and attention to detail. Advantageous: Hotel or safari lodge contracting, tour operator Rates & Contracting, leisure/MICE experience, hospitality systems and a relevant tourism qualification.
