Start: As soon as possible Supervisor - Role Overview As the Supervisor ; you will be responsible for ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations, maintaining high service standards, and supporting the team in delivering exceptional guest experiences. This is a hands‑on leadership role where you will balance staff management, customer engagement, and operational oversight. Supervisor - Key Responsibilities Team Leadership : Supervise baristas, waitstaff, and support staff. Provide guidance, training, and motivation to ensure consistent performance. Customer Experience : Engage with guests, resolve issues promptly, and maintain a welcoming atmosphere that reflects premium coffee culture. Operational Oversight : Manage daily floor operations, including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and service flow. Inventory Management : Monitor stock levels, coordinate with suppliers, and ensure availability of coffee, food, and beverage items. Quality Control : Uphold standards in product presentation, hygiene, and safety compliance. Scheduling & Rostering : Prepare staff schedules to balance efficiency with fair workload distribution. Training & Development : Conduct ongoing training in customer service, product knowledge, and operational procedures. Financial Awareness : Support management in monitoring sales, controlling costs, and achieving profitability targets. Brand Representation : Ensure staff presentation and service reflect the coffee shop’s premium identity. Candidate Profile Experience : Minimum 2–3 years in a supervisory role within hospitality, retail, or food service. Skills : Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment. Attributes : Detail‑oriented, approachable, and proactive in problem‑solving. Flexibility : Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays. Passion : Genuine enthusiasm for coffee culture and customer service excellence.
