?? ??????????? ??????????? is recruiting on behalf of a well-established portfolio of high-end luxury safari lodges and travel brands, for a hands-on and creatively driven ????????? ???????. Our client is a respected collection of luxury safari lodges, with a head office based in Cape Town and a strong presence in the high-end African travel market. With a small, close-knit marketing team and a premium brand that spans multiple properties, they are looking for someone who genuinely loves the craft of marketing – someone who is equally comfortable developing strategy and rolling up their sleeves to create exceptional content. This is an opportunity to take real ownership of a luxury brand that is growing its footprint and reach. The successful candidate will lead the full marketing function – from brand strategy and campaign development to hands-on content creation, social media management, website oversight, PR liaison, and digital marketing. You will drive direct booking growth through smart digital strategy, manage the content calendar, brief and oversee designers and external agencies, and ensure the brand is portrayed consistently and compellingly across every touchpoint. This is emphatically not a “delegate and manage data” role – the right person will be a creative all-rounder who gets stuck in. ???????????? A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Marketing Manager role, ideally within a high-end luxury travel, safari, or hospitality brand – this is essential. Demonstrable hands-on creative ability: this role requires someone who can actually produce content, not just commission it. A portfolio will be advantageous. Solid experience across digital marketing channels – website management, social media (paid and organic), email marketing, SEO, and online advertising. Proven ability to develop and implement a brand strategy that remains consistent across all customer touchpoints, from website to on-property collateral. Content creation capability: blog writing, social media captions, website copy, briefing and directing photo and video shoots, and managing a content schedule. Experience working with and managing external partners – PR agencies, web development agencies, designers, journalists, and influencers. A track record of growing direct bookings and website traffic through targeted digital strategies. Experience creating and distributing newsletters, mailers, and trade communications. Comfortable managing media relations, hosting journalists and influencers, and handling crisis communications when required. A genuine passion for luxury travel and high-end hospitality, with the personal presence to represent a premium brand confidently across trade, media, and guest environments. Engaging personality with excellent written and verbal communication skills – able to hold thoughtful conversations with guests, stakeholders, and media. A collaborative team player who thrives in a small, tight-knit team environment and leads by doing, not just directing.
