Job Summary
PURPOSE OF ROLE:
Responsible for crafting and driving the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the IT products serving customer and marketing business sectors within the Groups framework. Integral to the IT Product team, this role spearheads product prioritization, feature development, and lifecycle management. Combining hands-on involvement in analysis, design, user story creation, and active participation as the product owner within an agile team environment.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Possess a graduate degree or equivalent in IT, Engineering, Commerce, or Marketing
- Accumulate a minimum of 3 years of experience in product management
- Demonstrate an understanding of Scrum and Agile Software Development Methodology. Possess excellent knowledge of user-centered design principles
- Display strong business acumen (oral and written)
- Showcase the ability to work seamlessly with matrix-orientated teams
- Possess an understanding of design quality standards
- Exhibit a working knowledge of product development architecture
- Showcase proficiency in utilizing analytic tools
- Demonstrate effective prioritization skills
FINANCE and OPERATIONS:
- Enhance customer service excellence throughout omnichannel digital products
- Uphold and enhance customer service standards across various businesses and services
- Deliver comprehensive reporting and feedback integration
- Foster a customer-centric culture, streamline processes, and instil a customer-focused approach
- Strategize, assess and oversee the budget for the product on a monthly and annual basis
PRODUCT MANAGEMENT:
- Drives business requirements and defines product features for seamless digital customer experience.
- Assigns features to releases to meet business objectives and customer expectations.
- Utilizes data-centric KPIs and OKRs to lead business improvement efforts.
- Prioritizes products and ensures timely delivery through cross-functional teams.
- Actively engages in business and IT teams to achieve product-market fit.
- Serves as a crucial integration point between IT development, business process, architecture, and leadership.
- Monitors customer satisfaction and KPIs, leading efforts for analysis and continuous improvement.
- Manages product backlog and prioritizes based on evolving requirements.
- Oversees all stages of product creation, including design and development.
- Develops user stories and evaluates product progress throughout the process.
- Collaborates with the product team and end-users to deliver updates.
- Participates in Scrum meetings and product sprints.
- Drives product engagement through active customer development and testing, aiming for continuous improvement.
