Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate current business processes across property management, finance, billing, and leasing functions to identify inefficiencies and automation opportunities.
- Gather and document business requirements, translating them into functional specifications.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure system capabilities align with operational needs.
- Lead and support the implementation of property management and financial systems, including configuration, testing, and deployment of enhancements and new modules.
- Ensure optimal utilization of existing systems such as procurement, accounting, and reporting tools.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline workflows and reduce manual processes.
- Maintain data integrity across all systems, including tenant, lease, financial, and asset data.
- Develop dashboards and reports for management, supporting key metrics such as arrears, NOI, cash flow, and budgets.
- Support month-end and year-end reporting processes with accurate system data.
- Assist with system integrations for consolidated reporting across the property fund.
- Act as the primary liaison between finance, property management, IT, and external vendors.
- Provide system training and support to internal users, translating technical concepts into accessible language.
- Lead the internal IT team to ensure responsive support and effective issue resolution.
- Manage relationships with system vendors and service providers.
- Ensure systems comply with company policies, procedures, and audit requirements.
- Maintain thorough documentation of system processes, changes, and configurations.
- Participate in or lead system upgrades, migrations, and integration projects.
- Support broader digital transformation initiatives within the organization.
Requirements:
- 3 to 8 years of experience in systems analysis, implementation, or support.
- Proficiency in R and C programming languages.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to translate technical concepts into business language.
- Experience with property management or financial systems is advantageous.
