Director of Food & Beverage – Luxury 5-Star Hotel – Cape Town Our client, a prestigious luxury 5-Star hotel in the heart of Cape Town, is seeking an accomplished Director of Food & Beverage to lead their high-end F&B division. Description: As the Director of Food & Beverage, you will oversee the complete F&B portfolio, including fine-dining restaurants, bars, banqueting operations, and room service. You will drive guest satisfaction, operational efficiency, and commercial performance while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and service excellence. Key Responsibilities Oversee all F&B outlets across restaurants, bars, banqueting, and in-room dining Develop and execute innovative strategies to elevate guest satisfaction and profitability Lead; mentor, and inspire a diverse team of chefs, managers, and service professionals Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations Manage F&B budgets, forecasts, and financial controls Collaborate closely with the Executive Chef and cross-departmental teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences Uphold service standards aligned with luxury brand expectations Compensation Package Monthly CTC of R45;000 Additional Benefits: Uniform Allowance: Annually Performance Bonus: Eligible after 6 months (April–March cycle) Potential to earn up to 160% of target bonus (40% of base salary) ; based on a combination of financial, guest satisfaction, people management, compliance, and individual performance metrics Requirements: Proven track record in a senior Food & Beverage leadership role within luxury hospitality Strong financial and operational acumen Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills Passion for guest service, innovation, and sustainability Ability to drive performance, motivate teams, and maintain premium service delivery Relevant qualifications in hospitality, culinary arts, or business management Must be a South African citizen or hold valid authorisation to work in South Africa
