Job Summary
A modern and technology-driven security company, is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee and manage their guarding division. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operational management of security personnel, client service delivery, and maintaining high operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily security operations and deployment of guards
- Supervise site supervisors and security officers
- Conduct regular site inspections and client visits
- Manage staff scheduling, attendance, and replacements
- Ensure compliance with PSIRA regulations and company procedures
- Handle incident reporting and operational documentation
- Address client concerns and maintain strong client relationships
- Recruit, train, and discipline security personnel
- Maintain high service standards across all security sites
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in the security industry
- Previous experience managing security operations or multiple security sites
- Strong leadership and staff management skills
- Good communication and problem-solving ability
- PSIRA registered (Grade A preferred)
- Valid driver’s license
- Knowledge of security compliance and operational procedures Advantageous:
- Background in SAPS, military, or senior security supervision
- Experience managing 30+ guards or multiple sites
- Strong understanding of security technology (CCTV, control rooms, access control)
