Job title: Technical Support Engineer (Demo Van) - Across all 9 provinces of South Africa

Job Responsibilities:

• Driving company Demo Van across all 9 provinces of South Africa to showcase Company products to various clients
• Undertaking testing and commissioning activities in line with the specified site/project requirements
• Ensuring that equipment works to required specification
• Designing/creating and carrying out test procedures
• Ensuring the safe testing and commissioning of completed installations to achieve the necessary performance in accordance with project program requirements
• Sensitive to client’s requirement and can always capture what the client wants/ needs
• Providing technical support, Troubleshooting, investigating problems, diagnosing and repairing faults

Job Requirements:

• At least 2 years CCTV or physical security industry experience with full knowledge of technical skills · Project Management Experience
• Experience in Product selection and solution design
• Excellent public speaking skills and Good at producing/making presentations
• Capable of dealing with both pre-sales and after sales support
• Professional and always well-informed of new technology/s
• Strong logic and a razor-sharp ability to locate technical issues
• Enthusiastic and conscientious
• Good command of English (written and spoken)
• Experience in drafting testing reports (ability to collate feedback would be an advantage)
• Valid Driver’s license
• Ability to travel and drive long distances

• Familiarity with the latest trends, Technologies (Digital Marketing), Social Media Platforms and Methodologies in Graphic Design, Web Design, etc
• High emotional intelligence
• Empathetic and ‘first principles’ thinking – with the ability to think deeply about how the industry changes in light of South Africa’s macroeconomic climate
• A willingness to always learn, listen, and think deeply about what customers value, and the ability to venture into unknowing terrain to execute

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Information Systems as a must
• Minimum 3-7 years’ experience as an Information Systems/ Project Manager.
• Experience within a development role advantage
• Understanding Business Processes
• Microsoft Excel Advance, Power BI and/or SQL as a must
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 will be an advantage.

• Manage and support the change management process within the users and senior management.
• Proactively ensure the internal teams are ahead of project requirements, hence meeting all project requirements deadlines.
• Streamline and review all business process within system requirements. Eliminate unnecessary and manual processes. Obtain synergy amongst all stakeholders within the business.
• Plan go-live and future stages of development and forecast timelines for stakeholders.
• Manage the Data Analyst and the Power BI requirements.
• Manage Steer Co & scrum meeting, to ensure risk can be mitigated.
• Provide business insight from big data.
