Job Summary
- You will be part of our sales and marketing team with direct reporting line to the management
- Together with the Managing Director and the Sales Leadership team you will develop the e-commerce strategy across all major sales channels
- You will be responsible for the operational implementation of the aforementioned strategy with a hands-on approach of the strategic and operational management of all online sales
- Sourcing new e-commerce customers and developing existing e-commerce customer base
- You will be proactively and directly involved in setting up and maintaining retail partnerships
- Budget achievement driven
- This is ultimately a sales role for Amazon, Takealot and all other pure online and hybrid online customers, that is target driven
- All other admin tasks associated with the role are also to be covered, there are not other people in this "department" so the candidate would need to be an allrounder
Candidate Profile:
- You will be an E-Commerce professional with heart and soul, experience in successfully selling consumer goods is essential, preferably in the garden and home improvement industry
- You will live, breathe and speak E-Commerce. For this role, it is essential that you have at least 3 years detailed experience of selling consumer goods in E-Commerce with a record of accomplishment of doubling annual sales.
- You will have experience in setting up E-Com PPC Strategy
- You will be a people person and able to effectively lead and motivate your colleagues
- Important to note: We have seen confident start over the past 2 years in South Africa and have ambitious goals in existing and new channels. Your role is pivotal in achieving these goals so we are looking for someone with real passion for and commitment to excellence!
- You would need your own reliable vehicle and valid drivers license.
