Position: Quality Controller
Reporting to: Operations
Seniority Level: Pref 5-10 years in a food manufacturing industry. Preferably 2-3 years in a similar environment with a food manufacturer.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead the total Quality function for the dry food packaging facility
- Ensure alignment with World Class Quality practices for customer-driven results
- Responsible for Food Safety & Quality System compliance and audits
- Mentor and coach direct reports, support other departments
- Manage site QA team to meet Bakali Foods and customer standards
- Manage non-conformance, training, improvement, and problem-solving
- Oversee QA KPIs, incidents, audits, and certifications
- Develop and certify Quality and Food Safety Systems
- Report Quality performance trends to Management team
- Develop Quality personnel through coaching and training
Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Food Technology/B-Tech qualification in a technical discipline (or equivalent), preferably food science or technology, understanding of microbiology required.
- Pref 5-10 years in a food manufacturing industry.
- Preferably 2-3 years in a similar environment with a food manufacturer.
- Experience in ISO, HACCP, BRC/EFSIS/IFS certifications
- Strong leadership, communication, project management, and IT skills
- Commercial awareness and financial acumen
- Self-driven, results-oriented, ability to work autonomously
