Job Summary
Our client, a market leader and operating out of Humansdorp, is currently seeking to employ an experienced Warehouse Operations Supervisor.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field
- Minimum 3–5 years’ warehouse experience within an FMCG environment
- Minimum 1–2 years’ supervisory or team leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory control principles
- Experience working with WMS and ERP systems (Dynamics BC advantageous)
- Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency
- Strong leadership and people management capability
- Excellent organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong understanding of Health and Safety standards and FIFO principles
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily warehouse operations (receiving, storage, picking, packing, dispatch)
- Ensure accurate and timely order fulfilment
- Maintain stock accuracy through cycle counts and audits
- Lead, coach, and manage warehouse staff performance
- Enforce health, safety, and compliance standards (including FIFO)
- Drive process improvements and monitor key KPIs
- Utilise WMS/ERP systems for reporting and operational control
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations
