Our client based in Humansdorp is looking for an experienced a Butter Production Supervisor. This is an EE position.

Knowledge and Skills Required:

• Grade 12 / Std.10
• Have completed the SP2 dairy course or equivalent, ideally have 3 years supervisory experience in a dairy manufacturing environment.
• Be computer literate and ideally have attended supervision/leadership training.
• Experience in butter or other forms of dairy production will be an advantage.
• A sound practical knowledge of dairy processing and good manufacturing practices along with the ability to communicate well and motivate staff will be required for this position.

Key Performance Areas:

• The successful candidate will lead a high-performance team consisting of Operators and General Workers to produce and pack butter.
• Responsibilities include overseeing processes like butter churning, butter packing, CIP and stock control.
• The successful jobholder will be responsible for ensuring that company procedures are adhered to and that the daily KPI’s are achieved for example production volumes, yields, waste control and product quality.
• Further responsibilities include, coordinating staff, operating production equipment, training of subordinates, stock counting and to ensure proper record keeping is practiced.
• The jobholder will report to the production superintendent.

Our client in the FMCG industry is seeking to employ two UHT Supervisors (Shift Positions) , based in Humansdorp.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills Required:

• Matric.
• A suitable qualification to facilitate good manufacturing practices and sound staff management principles will form part of the job requirements.
• 3 years previous Supervisory experience in a dairy or FMCG manufacturing environment.
• Previous experience and knowledge of the Tetra Pak Filling machines will be an advantage.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead a high-performance team consisting of Filler, Downstream Operators and General Workers.
• Responsibilities include staff commitment to company procedures, the achievement of the daily production plan, effective line utilization and housekeeping through effective supervision.
• Ensuring adherence to the Occupational Health and Safety Act, the quality system and training of subordinates.

Reporting Line:

• The job holder will report to the shift production Foreman.

Our client in the FMCG industry is looking to employ a Warehouse Inventory Supervisor(EE), based in Humansdorp.

Requirements:

• The successful candidate will have matric, a logistics or inventory management qualification, and previous supervisory experience in a dairy or FMCG environment.
• The candidate must be qualified to facilitate good administrative and operational practices and must be computer literate with knowledge of Navision.
• The candidate must be motivated, energetic, and pay attention to detail.
• The candidate must have a valid driver's license.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• The candidate will be responsible for an Inventory team with the achievements of the daily, weekly, and monthly deadlines.
• The successful candidate will need to ensure all relevant stock movements and controls are done correctly, accurately, and according to the procedures.
• Proper record-keeping of all inventory-related issues and updating work instructions will be key.
• The candidate will be responsible for stock counts, housekeeping, and assisting the stock control team to follow up on stock discrepancies on all stock transferred from production and sold to customers, using Navision.
• The candidate will be expected to regularly identify continuous improvement initiatives to ensure continuous improvements in their area of responsibility.
