Job Summary
A leading organization in the automotive industry is looking for a seasoned Payroll Administrator to take ownership of a complex payroll function. This is a role for someone who doesn’t just process payroll, but understands it; from legislation to reconciliations, controls and continuous improvement.
The business is focused on securing a confident, experienced individual who can bring stability, accuracy and a high standard of compliance to the function.
What You’ll Take Ownership Of:
- End-to-end payroll processing in a high-volume environment
- Ensuring full compliance with BCEA, SARS and statutory regulations
- Managing PAYE, UIF, SDL and all related reconciliations
- Handling payroll queries with accuracy and professionalism
- Maintaining and improving payroll controls and processes
- Supporting audits and ensuring audit readiness
- Managing employee benefits, deductions and third-party payments
- Delivering accurate reporting within strict deadlines
What You Bring:
- Minimum 5+ years’ payroll experience (non-negotiable)
- Proven experience in high-volume payroll environments
- Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and compliance
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience on a recognised payroll system
- High attention to detail and strong sense of accountability
- Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Confident, reliable and solutions-driven
