A dynamic consulting and financial services firm is seeking to appoint a Financial Manager to join its growing leadership team at their offices in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town. The organisation partners with businesses and private clients to drive performance, build sustainable growth, and deliver integrated financial solutions across consulting, investment, wealth, and insurance services.
Working closely with executive leadership, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring robust financial governance, accurate reporting, and informed decision‑making across multiple entities.
This is a hands-on position, with approximately:
70% focus on financial management, accounting oversight, and reporting
30% focus on business planning, commercial analysis, and strategic financial management

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Oversee monthly financial reporting, management accounts and reporting across multiple entities.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information, statutory reporting and compliance.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow and working capital.
• Strengthen financial controls, systems and reporting processes.
• Lead, mentor and develop the finance team while reviewing work prepared by junior staff.
• Partner with executive management on commercial analysis, business planning and strategic decision-making.
• Analyse profitability, margins and business performance, providing meaningful financial insights.
• Evaluate new business opportunities, investments and strategic initiatives.
• Drive operational improvements through technology, automation and business analysis.
• Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, banks and other professional advisors.
• Ad hoc duties as required.
Qualifications and Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or similar.
· Professional accounting qualification with completed SAICA, SAIPA or CIMA articles.
· CA(SA) qualification will be advantageous.
· Minimum of three years' post-article experience.
· Strong financial accounting, management reporting and budgeting experience.
· Experience within multi-entity environments will be advantageous.
· Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with strong technology aptitude.
· Experience within professional services, financial services or healthcare will be beneficial.

Remuneration:
· R480,000 to R780,000 pa cost to company, depending on experience.
· Discretionary performance bonus.
