Job Summary
A leading financial services organisation is seeking an experienced Design Lead to drive intermediary experience strategy and design across a large-scale digital platform environment.
This role will lead the design capability responsible for shaping intuitive, consistent and user-centred intermediary journeys across multiple products, channels and teams. The successful candidate will partner closely with Product, Technology, Data, Marketing and Business stakeholders to deliver high-quality digital experiences that improve intermediary efficiency and effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and lead intermediary experience strategy across digital platforms and journeys.
- Drive UX, UI and interaction design best practices across multiple teams.
- Lead user research, usability testing and insight-driven design initiatives.
- Build and mentor a high-performing design team and design culture.
- Own and evolve the design system, governance frameworks and shared design assets.
- Collaborate with Product, Technology and Business leaders to shape end-to-end experiences.
- Translate strategic objectives into practical, scalable and user-centred design solutions.
- Ensure consistency, accessibility and quality across intermediary experiences.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in a related field.
- 8–12 years’ experience in Product Design, UX/UI or Service Design.
- Proven experience leading design teams within enterprise or financial services environments.
- Strong knowledge of human-centred design methodologies and agile delivery.
- Experience with interaction design, user journeys, service blueprints and design systems.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and leadership capability.
- Experience conducting and interpreting qualitative and quantitative user research.
