Job Summary

With an expanding footprint and ambitious growth strategy, the business requires a strong finance leader to oversee group reporting, strengthen financial controls, and provide strategic support on investment and acquisition initiatives.
The Group Finance Manager will play a critical role in ensuring accurate consolidated reporting, managing budgeting and forecasting processes, and providing meaningful commercial insights to Exco. You will also be involved in financial due diligence, deal evaluation, and supporting strategic transactions.
This role offers the opportunity to operate at executive level, contribute directly to growth decisions, and take ownership of the group finance function.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee group reporting and consolidated financial statements across multiple entities
- Prepare monthly management accounts, Exco packs, and board-level reporting
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
- Provide variance analysis and commercial insights to improve profitability and decision-making
- Manage cash flow forecasting, working capital optimisation, and financial controls
- Support investment evaluations, financial due diligence, and deal structuring for acquisitions
- Manage audit processes and ensure compliance with IFRS and governance requirements
- Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and finance transformation projects
- Lead and develop a high-performing finance team while partnering with key stakeholders across the business
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- CA(SA) qualification is essential
- Minimum 8–12 years post-articles experience in a Group Finance / Financial Management role
- Strong experience in consolidated reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting
- Exposure to investment analysis, due diligence, acquisitions, or deal structuring is highly advantageous
- Strong governance, compliance, and audit management capability
- Advanced Excel skills and strong financial modelling ability
- Experience with financial systems (Xero, Sage, ERP systems or similar)
- Proven stakeholder management skills with confidence engaging at Executive level
- Strong leadership experience managing teams in a high-performance environment
