Job Summary
Our client, a well-established organisation operating within the manufacturing industry, is seeking to employ an experienced Finance Clerk to join their team based in Johannesburg. This is a hybrid role that may require work in Pretoria.
Requirements
- Matric
- Knowledge in the area of financial statement preparation, budgeting, payroll, purchasing, accounts payable and accounts receivable or the equivalent
- Experience working with an automated financial management system
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in Finance
- Good knowledge of Excel
- Accounts payable and receivable
- An understanding of relevant financial legislation policies and procedures
Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Processing bills, transactions, and credits
- Verifying account information and bills, and resolving any discrepancies or errors
- Keeping organized records
- Preparing documents
- Maintains customer’s financial information
- Maintains vendors’ financial information and files
- Assists in posting journal entries into the accounting software
