Job Summary
Qualification- Matric / Senior Certificate
- National Diploma or Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Credit Management (NQF 6+)
- Credit Management III or higher strongly preferred
- Postgraduate certificate in credit risk/leadership advantageous
- Must have own vehicle and drivers license
- Advanced knowledge of credit management, risk assessment & debt recovery
- Thorough understanding of financial statements & cash‑flow impact of credit decisions
- Full credit‑to‑cash process knowledge (order → delivery → billing → payment → legal)
- Strong understanding of legal collections processes & frameworks
- Comprehensive understanding of reconciliations, write‑offs, revenue assurance
- Industry & market dynamics affecting payment behaviour
- Change management principles for process/system improvement
- Advanced SAP capability (ZFI001, FD32, FBL5N, VMK1, legal and releasing workflows)
- Master‑level Excel/BI analysis and trend interpretation
- Ability to design, review & audit end-to-end processes
- High-level reconciliation & dispute resolution expertise
- Strong report writing & insight communication skills
- Ability to lead complex legal or high-risk escalations confidently
- Data-driven decision-making & KPI design
- Strategic thinking & decision-making
- Leadership presence & ability to guide through ambiguity
- High emotional intelligence and conflict resolution
- Commercial awareness & enterprise-wide thinking
