The Role

As Project Controller, you will act as the financial business partner to project management teams, ensuring projects remain financially healthy, compliant, and aligned with business objectives.
Your responsibilities will include:

? Financial Analysis & Project Control

✅ Preparing and maintaining accurate project forecasts, budgets, and cash flow projections
✅ Monitoring project costs, revenue, profitability, and performance throughout the project lifecycle
✅ Calculating and managing Work in Progress (WIP)
✅ Identifying financial risks, variances, and trends while recommending corrective actions
✅ Supporting project teams with financial planning and decision-making
✅ Monitoring project KPIs and ensuring targets are achieved
✅ Managing month-end financial controls, accruals, provisions, and reporting processes

⚠️ Risk Management & Governance

✅ Ensuring compliance with financial policies, procedures, and reporting standards
✅ Monitoring project financial performance and proactively addressing risks
✅ Supporting credit management, invoicing, and financial contractual compliance
✅ Assisting with internal and external audit requirements
✅ Maintaining strong financial controls and accurate project master data

? Continuous Improvement

✅ Acting as the bridge between Finance and Operations
✅ Translating financial data into actionable business insights
✅ Identifying opportunities to improve processes, controls, and project performance
✅ Driving a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence

? Stakeholder Engagement

✅ Partnering closely with Project Managers and operational teams
✅ Supporting decision-making through insightful financial reporting
✅ Presenting project performance information to key stakeholders
✅ Ensuring accurate and timely management reporting

What We're Looking For

Essential Requirements

✔ Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field
✔ Minimum 5 years' experience in Project Control, Cost Control, or Project Finance
✔ Strong budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and project accounting experience
✔ Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
✔ Experience working within complex project-based environments
✔ Strong understanding of financial controls, compliance, and risk management
✔ Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
