Job Summary
Job Description:
Manage financial accounting and reporting across a group of companies and business units.
Prepare and review monthly management accounts, consolidated reports, and balance sheet reconciliations.
Manage month‑end and year‑end close processes and assist with annual financial statements.
Support budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial performance reporting.
Coordinate annual audits, prepare audit files, and liaise with external auditors.
Ensure compliance with IFRS, the Companies Act, and internal financial policies.
Manage VAT, PAYE, tax compliance, and regulatory submissions.
Prepare treasury reports, cash flow analyses, and support budgeting across multiple divisions.
Manage debtor and creditor reviews, ageing analysis, and related reporting.
Maintain and reconcile the fixed asset register.
Support ERP system enhancements and drive process improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with operational, logistics, and commercial teams to improve business processes.
Skills & Experience:
Minimum 3 years' experience as a Financial Accountant or in a similar role.
Strong technical accounting knowledge, including IFRS and the Companies Act.
Experience managing month‑end, year‑end, reporting, and reconciliations.
Advanced Excel skills.
Strong analytical, organisational, and problem‑solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Qualification:
BCom Accounting OR Equivalent Accounting Qualification.
Completed SAICA or SAIPA articles
