Job Summary
Ensure successful completion of internal and external audits while maintaining high standards of compliance.
Oversee the integrity and accuracy of monthly financial reporting, ensuring all deadlines are met.
Monitor financial forecasts and enhance processes to support consistent and effective financial management.
Drive divisional financial performance through effective budget management and cost control.
Manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to support the operational and strategic needs of the business.
Serve as a key financial advisor, providing commercially relevant insights and supporting informed decision-making.
Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous growth.
Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and support business objectives.
Manage relationships with key external stakeholders, including SARS, CIPC, auditors, banks, suppliers, and customers.
Prepare, manage, and track annual budgets, providing clear analysis of financial performance and variances.
Monitor and report on key financial, compliance, treasury, and operational performance indicators to support business success.
Skills & Experience:
3–5 years’ post-articles experience in a Financial Manager or similar role.
Proven track record of managing month-end processes and delivering clean audits.
Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, and management accounting.
Solid understanding of cash flow, treasury, and working capital management.
Knowledge of IFRS, SARS, and CIPC compliance requirements.
Experience in maintaining strong internal controls and accurate financial reporting.
Ability to manage profitability, budgets, and cost control against EBIT targets.
Skilled in variance analysis and monthly financial performance reporting.
Experience liaising with auditors, banks, SARS, and other key stakeholders.
Ability to lead, mentor, and develop a finance team.
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to support business decision-making.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
High level of integrity, accountability, and ownership.
Proactive and adaptable, with strong problem-solving abilities.
Resilient self-starter with a focus on continuous improvement and process enhancement.
Qualification:
CIMA/PA(SA)/ AGA(SA)
BCom Accounting, Post graduate diploma in Accounting Science
