The successful candidate will play a key role in financial reporting, reconciliations, analysis, and supporting finance-related projects. This position offers excellent exposure to operational finance while allowing candidates to further develop their technical accounting capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records
- Perform reconciliations and month-end processes
- Support financial reporting and analysis
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Analyse financial data and provide insights to management
- Support finance-related projects and process improvements
- Ensure compliance with financial controls and reporting requirements
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to support business objectives
Job Experience and Skills Required
Education:- BCom Accounting or related qualification
- 1-4 years' accounting experience
- Insurance industry experience essential
- Experience working on SAP essential
- Project exposure advantageous
- Advanced Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, data analysis)
- SAP
- Financial Reporting
- Reconciliations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills
