Job Description
Our client is seeking for the Solutions Architect to play a pivotal role in designing and delivering technology solutions that meet the strategic objectives of the organisation within the banking and finance sector. This position involves working closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and external partners to develop robust, scalable, and secure architecture solutions that align with business needs and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and maintain the end-to-end solution architecture for the domain, ensuring alignment with business strategy, enterprise architecture standards, and technology roadmaps.
- Translate business capabilities, requirements, and regulatory obligations into scalable, secure, and resilient technology solutions that deliver measurable business value.
- Provide architectural leadership across projects and programmes, guiding solution design, integration patterns, data flows, and technology selection decisions.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, engineering teams, and enterprise architects to ensure solutions are fit-for-purpose, cost-effective, and sustainable.
- Govern architectural compliance by reviewing designs, managing technical risks, promoting reuse of capabilities, and driving continuous improvement across the domain's technology landscape.
Experience and Qualifications
- 12-15 years IT experience, with 7+ years as a Solution Architect and 5+ years in financial services
- TOGAF certification preferred.
- Experience in enterprise integration, cloud architecture, security architecture, and banking systems.
