The Senior Data Engineer lead the design and implementation of enterprise data solutions that support strategic banking initiatives, advanced analytics, AI, and regulatory compliance requirements.This role involves working closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure the availability, reliability and quality of data across various platforms and systems. The Senior Data Engineer plays a key part in enabling data-driven strategies by delivering efficient, secure and compliant data solutions that meet regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design enterprise-scale data architectures.
- Lead complex data integration and migration projects.
- Build high-performance data pipelines.
- Define data engineering best practices and standards.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers.
- Improve data platform performance and scalability.
- Support cloud-based data initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent.
- 8+ years' Data Engineering experience.
- Mandatory banking sector experience.
- Experience leading data engineering teams.
