Job Summary
We are currently seeking Trainees with experience that are looking to join PKF Octagon.
Technical Competencies:
- Proficiency in CaseWare
- Understanding and application of International Auditing Standards
- Knowledge of IFRS and ability to interpret reporting requirements
- Ability to perform substantive testing, analytical procedures and control testing
- Understanding of full audit process from planning to completion
- Ability to prepare and audit working papers
- Ability to identify audit risks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
- Knowledge of Tax principles and company law

Minimum requirements:
- Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Accounting Sciences (CTA level 2)
- Consistently good academic record
- Good communication skills
- Driver's license
- Must be a South African Citizen
- One or two years articles experience
