We are seeking an experienced Facility & Utility Electrical Coordinator to join a leading manufacturing environment in Belgium.
This role is ideal for an electrical professional with strong technical expertise who enjoys coordinating electrical projects, ensuring regulatory compliance, and managing industrial electrical infrastructure. The successful candidate will combine hands-on electrical knowledge with project coordination, contractor management, and compliance oversight to ensure the safe and efficient operation of facility and utility electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, update, and maintain electrical drawings using EPLAN or similar software.
Perform cable sizing, short-circuit, and selectivity calculations.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation for electrical installations and upgrades.
Provide technical support for new installations, facility expansions, and modifications.
Coordinate improvements to facility and utility electrical systems.
Monitor project progress and report on technical performance and improvement opportunities.
Coordinate mandatory electrical inspections in accordance with AREI regulations.
Ensure all electrical installations comply with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Maintain documentation for inspections, audits, and compliance.
Supervise and coordinate external electrical contractors.
Plan, schedule, and oversee electrical projects from initiation through completion.
Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and production teams.
Promote continuous improvement and electrical reliability throughout the facility.
Requirements
Qualification in Industrial Electricity or equivalent practical experience.
Minimum 5 years' experience in industrial electrical installations or facility electrical coordination (recommended).
Good Dutch language proficiency.
French and English are advantageous.
Experience with EPLAN or similar electrical design software.
Strong knowledge of low-voltage (LV) electrical systems.
Medium-voltage (MV) experience is advantageous.
Knowledge of AREI regulations and electrical inspection requirements.
Willingness to relocate to Belgium.
Strong planning, organisation, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently while coordinating multiple stakeholders.
