Job Title: Fitter / Boilermaker
Location: Kempton Park
Salary: R27 000 CTC
Job Purpose:
We are seeking a skilled Fitter / Boilermaker with a strong manufacturing background to join our team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in welding, machinery fitting, and maintenance, capable of working safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform fitting and boilermaking tasks as per production requirements.
- Carry out Arch welding and CO2 welding on various components.
- Assemble, repair, and maintain machinery and equipment.
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and workplace standards.
- Assist in lifting and moving heavy equipment safely.
Requirements:
- Trade Tested (Red Seal) qualification in Fitting or Boilermaking.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in Arch welding and CO2 welding techniques.
- Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport.
- Physically fit and in good health to perform lifting and manual tasks.
- Matric certificate required.
- Previous experience in boilermaking or fitting is essential.
