Purpose of the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Bid Administrator to join our team on a fixed-term contract to provide maternity relief. The successful candidate will manage the end-to-end bid process, ensuring proposals are accurate, compliant, and delivered within deadlines. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled administrator with tendering experience to gain exposure in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Minimum Requirements
Grade 12 / Matric.
Residing in Centurion or surrounding areas.
1–3 years’ experience in bid administration, proposal management, or a related role.
Strong understanding of the tendering process.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Experience with document management and collaboration platforms.
Ability to interpret and work with technical drawings.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the end-to-end bid and proposal process from initial review to submission.
Coordinate with internal teams (sales, engineering, operations) and external stakeholders to gather and consolidate information.
Compile technical information, reports, and marketing materials for proposals.
Maintain and update a comprehensive bid library with version control.
Track progress, deadlines, and deliverables, providing regular updates to management.
Ensure all bids meet compliance requirements, company standards, and best practices.
Build and maintain professional relationships with clients, contractors, and consultants to support smooth bid execution.
