Our client is a leading engineering and automation solutions provider seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to support the design, development, and implementation of sophisticated control systems across a variety of industrial environments.In this role, you will be responsible for PLC and SCADA development, system integration, commissioning, troubleshooting, and optimization of automated processes. You'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients to deliver innovative solutions while ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest technical standards.
Education:
- BEng / BSc / BTech in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or Automation Engineering
- Relevant automation certifications will be advantageous
Job Experience & Skills Required:
- Minimum 4 years' experience in industrial automation engineering
- Strong experience with PLC programming (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Schneider, or similar)
- Hands-on experience with SCADA, HMI, and DCS systems
- Experience with industrial communication protocols and network architectures
- Knowledge of instrumentation, process control, and control panel design
- Proven experience in commissioning, troubleshooting, and system optimization
- Ability to interpret electrical drawings, P&IDs, and control system documentation
- Experience in manufacturing, mining, FMCG, water treatment, or process industries will be advantageous
- Strong project execution and client-facing skills
- Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities
