Based in Cape Town, this role offers a dynamic, target-driven environment where technical expertise and sales ability are equally valued.As a Valve Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for developing new business, managing existing accounts, and providing tailored valve solutions to clients in industries such as oil & gas, petrochemical, manufacturing, and utilities. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing environment and enjoys closing technical deals.
Education:
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field
Job Experience & Skills Required:
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in valve sales or flow control solutions
- Strong knowledge of industrial valves (e.g. ball, gate, control valves)
- Proven track record in achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Ability to develop new business and maintain key client relationships
- Strong negotiation and closing skills
- Technical aptitude with solution-based selling approach
- Experience in industries such as oil & gas, chemical, or manufacturing is advantageous
- Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel
