Our client is a well-established engineering and infrastructure firm known for delivering large-scale projects across South Africa. They are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee project planning, execution, resource management, and stakeholder engagement while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.The successful candidate will lead multidisciplinary teams, manage project risks, coordinate contractors and consultants, and maintain strong client relationships. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile projects while playing a key role in the company's continued growth and success.
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent Project Management certification advantageous
- Professional registration will be beneficial
Job Experience & Skills Required:
- Minimum 8 years' experience in project management within engineering, construction, infrastructure, or industrial environments
- Proven track record of successfully delivering multidisciplinary projects
- Strong project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and forecasting experience
- Experience managing project scope, risks, and stakeholder expectations
- Strong contract administration and commercial management skills
- Ability to lead and motivate multidisciplinary project teams
- Experience managing contractors, consultants, and client relationships
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices
- Excellent negotiation, leadership, and communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Project, Primavera, or similar project management software
