Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Spray Paint Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing spray-painting operations, ensuring high-quality finishes, efficient production, and compliance with required standards.
Minimum Requirements
2–5 years of hands-on spray painting experience
Previous supervisory or team-leading experience will be advantageous
Strong understanding of paint mixing ratios
Good knowledge of different coating types and applications
Proficient in spray gun operations and techniques
Good understanding of drying and curing times
Ability to identify and resolve painting and coating defects
Strong knowledge of spray-painting processes and quality standards
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Excellent time management skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet strict production deadlines
Ability to supervise and guide a team effectively
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily spray-painting activities
Ensure correct paint mixing ratios and coating specifications are followed
Operate and monitor spray-painting equipment and spray guns
Ensure proper drying and curing times are maintained
Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met
Identify and resolve paint defects, inconsistencies, and application issues
Manage workflow to ensure production deadlines are achieved
Provide guidance and support to spray-painting staff
Ensure a clean, safe, and organised working environment
Monitor the use of paint, materials, and equipment to minimise wastage
Communicate production requirements, challenges, and progress to management
