Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Procurement Officer with board industry experience to join our team in Jacobs, Durban.
Minimum Requirements:
3–5 years of relevant procurement experience.
Previous experience in the board industry is essential.
Relevant qualification in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, or a related field.
Strong negotiation, communication, and organisational skills.
Experience in supplier sourcing, purchasing, stock control, and inventory management.
Ability to manage orders, monitor deliveries, and maintain good supplier relationships.
Must be detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work under pressure.
Must be available to start immediately.
Key Responsibilities:
Source and purchase boards, raw materials, and related products.
Negotiate competitive pricing and favourable supplier terms.
Process purchase orders and follow up on deliveries.
Monitor stock levels and ensure materials are available when required.
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
Ensure cost-effective procurement and timely delivery of goods.
