Job Summary
A leading corporate motor dealership in Cape Town is looking for an experienced Financial Manager to join their successful team. If you have a strong background in dealership accounting and financial management, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Salary: Market Related
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the full financial function of the dealership.
Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
Manage budgets, cash flow, forecasting and financial planning.
Ensure compliance with tax legislation and statutory requirements.
Monitor dealership profitability and financial performance.
Manage debtors, creditors, payroll and asset control.
Reconcile manufacturer incentives and warranty accounts.
Liaise with auditors, banks and manufacturer representatives.
Lead and develop the finance team.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a similar Diploma in Accountancy.
Experience in the motor industry and vehicle dealership accounting is essential.
Basic understanding of corporate taxes.
Sound knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
Minimum of 4 years' experience as an Accountant.
Strong numerical accuracy and computer skills.
Previous supervisory experience.
Grade 12 (Matric).
Valid South African driver's licence.
Clear criminal record.
