Basic Requirements:
Relevant Panel Beating qualification or proven practical experience
Experience with minor body repairs, dent removal, panel alignment and finishing
Ability to work with hand and power tools
Good understanding of automotive bodywork and repair techniques
Fibre glass repair experience highly advantageous
Ability to work accurately to quality and production standards
Good attention to detail and ability to identify defects
Reliable, safety-conscious and able to work as part of a production team
Trade Test highly advantageous
Applying and sanding body filler on composite metal vehicle bodies
Fulfilling the function of a metal finish on vehicle bodies
Short Job Description:
Responsible for carrying out minor panel and body repairs, dent removal, surface preparation, fitting and finishing on vehicles/components within a vehicle manufacturing environment. The role focuses on maintaining a high-quality finish rather than major accident-damage repairs. Fibre glass repair and finishing experience will be highly advantageous.
