Job Summary
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and maintain network systems, including LAN, WAN, WIFI.
Resolve network-related or user training issues, minimizing downtime and optimizing performance.
Install, configure, and support network hardware and software, such as routers, switches, firewalls, and servers.
Escalate complex problems to external providers and ensure timeous resolution.
Assist in network upgrades, expansions, and security improvements.
Administer department.
Ensure network documentation is up-to-date, including diagrams, equipment lists, and procedures.
Perform regular network performance checks, security monitoring, and backup management.
Qualifications and Experience:
Network certification (e.g. MCSE)
Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and operating systems (Windows)
Experience with network security practices, including firewalls, encryption management.
Ability to troubleshoot network connectivity issues and implement solutions efficiently.
Knowledge of network monitoring tools and diagnostic software.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
