We are seeking a polished and professional Receptionist / Switchboard Operator to join a dynamic and fast-paced wine estate environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives under pressure while maintaining a warm, welcoming presence.
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a busy hospitality or hotel environment
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Well-spoken, articulate, and professional
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a pleasant disposition
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage a busy switchboard, handling incoming and outgoing calls efficiently
- Welcome and assist guests in a professional and friendly manner
- Handle reservations, enquiries, and general guest communication
- Coordinate messages accurately and timeously
- Provide administrative support to various departments
- Maintain a neat and organised reception area
- Liaise with internal teams to ensure seamless guest experiences
- Handle complaints or queries with professionalism and discretion
