Job Summary
Job title: Operations Manager
Location: Groblersbrug
Salary: R28 000 – R32 000 (live-in position)
Job Duties:
- Oversee the daily operations of the hotel
- Ensure all departments function smoothly and efficiently to provide an exceptional guest experience
- Manage staff across front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, spa, and maintenance departments
- Promote a culture of teamwork and excellence
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures
- Monitor performance metrics
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with the General Manager to develop budgets and forecast expenses
- Drive profitability through effective cost control measures
- Address guest concerns promptly and effectively while maintaining high service standards
Requirements:
- 5–7 years’ experience in hotel operations
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Solid understanding of hospitality management principles
- Ability to manage multiple hotel departments effectively
- Commitment to fostering a positive and engaging work environment
- Degree in Hospitality Management preferred
