Role Overview
We are seeking a full?time Marketing Intern / Digital Marketing Intern to support the Marketing Manager. This role focuses on digital marketing, social media management, audience targeting, content creation, and general marketing assistance, including daily administrative support. The internship offers exposure to multiple luxury hospitality properties across South Africa, Europe, and the United Kingdom, as well as involvement in international digital marketing campaigns and creative strategy development.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and update social media profiles across multiple platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.)
- Set up and optimize audience targeting on social media platforms
- Assist with digital marketing campaigns, including content creation, email marketing, and online advertising
- Maintain and optimize property listings on booking platforms (Booking.com, Expedia, Airbnb, etc.)
- Create and edit visual content for social media, websites, and marketing materials
- Provide general marketing assistance and daily administrative support to the Marketing Manager
- Support brand consistency and assist with promotional initiatives across all properties
Minimum Requirements
- Recently completed a Digital Marketing course or similar qualification
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in social media marketing and audience targeting (Instagram, Facebook)
- Graphic design skills (Adobe Illustrator, Canva, or similar tools)
- Photography skills (advantageous but not required)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Workspace
- Detail?oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks
- Creative mindset with a willingness to learn and contribute ideas
