Own the end-to-end marketing agenda for one of South Africa’s most dynamic destination and entertainment groups. This is a hands-on, commercially driven CMO role where strategy and live execution must move in lockstep.
As Group Chief Marketing Officer, you will lead group-wide brand, marketing and digital strategy across gaming, hospitality, conferencing, entertainment and destination marketing. While the mandate spans multiple properties, the role is anchored at Emperors Palace, the flagship operation, where pace, complexity and scale require visible leadership and rapid, real-time decision-making.
You will shape marketing governance and performance standards across the group, while personally embedding high-impact execution at Emperors Palace as the “test bed” for initiatives before broader rollout. This is a digitally driven, demand-led role with clear accountability for customer acquisition, conversion optimisation, pricing intelligence and measurable commercial outcomes.

What You’ll Do
Define and lead the group marketing vision and strategy across all properties
Establish marketing governance, standards, performance metrics and reporting across the group
Lead flagship marketing execution at Emperors Palace with a strong in-business presence
Drive revenue-aligned campaigns across gaming, hospitality, conferencing and entertainment
Own group-wide digital strategy, demand generation, pricing intelligence and conversion optimisation
Strengthen destination positioning and deliver bold, brand-consistent campaigns with local nuance
Integrate closely with operations, sales and commercial leaders to respond quickly to live trading realities
Build credibility with external partners, promoters and key stakeholders, supporting executive relationships and growth
