What You’ll Be Trusted With
Financial Processing & Administration
- Process daily receipts, payments, cashbook entries, and journal allocations
- Reconcile bank accounts and investigate any variances
- Capture and verify supplier invoices and credit notes
- Prepare and process supplier payments via online banking
- Perform monthly supplier reconciliations and resolve outstanding queries
Reporting & Month-End Support
- Assist with monthly management reports and supporting schedules
- Ensure accurate data capture in Pastel within strict deadlines
- Support across creditors, debtors, revenue reporting, and petty cash
Stakeholder Engagement
- Handle internal and external finance queries efficiently
- Liaise with suppliers to manage statements, payments, and queries
Team & Culture
- Build strong working relationships across teams and suppliers
- Contribute positively to a collaborative, values-driven environment
- Support sustainability and responsible business practices
What You Bring to the Table
- Matric (non-negotiable)
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a finance/accounting role
(creditors, cashbook, or petty cash experience is essential) - Solid working knowledge of Pastel Accounting, Micros, and Excel
- Strong numerical ability and a sharp eye for detail
- Ability to manage deadlines without dropping the ball
- Clear, professional communication skills
