Job Summary
Duties:
Inventory Management:
Develop and implement inventory control procedures to maintain optimal stock levels and prevent shortages.
Monitor stock movements, authorize reorders, and conduct regular physical stock counts and audits.
Logistics & Warehousing:
Oversee the receiving, inspection, and storage of incoming materials.
Ensure the central stores area is organized effectively to support efficient workflow, material handling, and dispatch operations.
Team Leadership:
Manage, train, and mentor warehouse personnel and storekeepers.
Set performance goals, conduct evaluations, and oversee daily shift scheduling.
Safety & Compliance:
Enforce strict compliance with occupational health and safety regulations, security policies, and company operating procedures within the warehouse environment.
Procurement Liaison:
Coordinate with procurement and project teams to ensure timely material sourcing, delivery to sites, and management of supplier returns.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Supply Chain, Logistics
Proven experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, or a similar supervisory supply chain role.
Proficiency in utilizing Materials Control and/or store stock systems.
Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills, coupled with strong verbal and written communication.
Experience in managing big stores / warehouses
Experience in Hospitality industry is an advantage.
Excellent in inventory controls.
