Job Summary
Role Overview
We are looking for a highly organised, customer-focused Studio Traffic & Workflow Manager to lead and coordinate the Creative Studio. This role sits at the centre of customers, sales, and designers, ensuring that custom design briefs are clear, workflows are efficient, and high-quality artwork is delivered on time.
This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced creative environments, enjoys working with people, and has a strong sense of ownership over delivery, quality, and customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary link between customers, sales, and the design studio, ensuring briefs are clear, accurate, and aligned to customer expectations.
- Guide customers and sales teams to achieve clarity on design requirements, reducing rework and unnecessary design changes.
- Manage studio workflow and traffic, assigning work based on capacity, skill, and deadlines.
- Support and lead the design team by removing obstacles, managing priorities, and ensuring consistent performance and output.
- Oversee studio capacity, turnaround times, and delivery against sales commitments.
- Monitor quality and accuracy of artwork, driving continuous improvement in processes and workflows.
- Provide people leadership, including performance management, coaching, development, and team engagement.
- Report on studio output, capacity, risks, and timelines, escalating issues proactively.
Ideal Candidate Requirements:
- Strong organisational, coordination, and communication skills.
- Confident working with customers and internal stakeholders to clarify requirements and manage expectations.
- Ability to balance customer satisfaction with efficient, well-managed studio workflows.
- Keen eye for design quality and detail (graphic design skills not required).
- Proven leadership ability with a supportive, performance-driven approach.
- Comfortable working in a deadline-driven, high-output environment.
Required Experience:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience managing a team, including performance reviews, disciplinary code & staff development.
- Experience in a similar role involving project management, workflow coordination, or traffic management, ideally within a creative, production, or agency environment.
- Experience working closely with sales or customer-facing teams.
- Experience with project management or CRM tools like Slack, Monday.com, and Zoho, or similar.
- Proficient in Google Suite.
- Experience with design software (Adobe Suite) will be an advantage, but is not required.
