An established retailer within the outdoor and sporting goods industry is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Outdoor Sales Consultant to join their team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting customers, promoting products, building client relationships, generating sales opportunities, and delivering exceptional customer service across a range of outdoor, camping, hiking, hunting, and sporting products.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 2 years' sales experience
• Retail sales experience advantageous
• Fluent in Afrikaans and English
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated and target-driven
• Professional and well presented
• Reliable transport advantageous
• Passion for outdoor activities advantageous

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist customers with product selection and recommendations
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships
• Promote and sell products across various outdoor and sporting categories
• Identify sales opportunities and generate new business
• Achieve individual sales targets
• Maintain product knowledge and stay informed on new product ranges
• Assist with merchandising and store presentation
• Provide exceptional customer service and after-sales support
• Assist with stock control and general store duties where required

Additional Information

• Salary: R10,000 nett
• Working hours: 9am – 6pm
• Weekend shifts required
