Job Summary
Responsibilities: - Supervise operating staff and suppliers and ensure all activities are completed. - Ensure equipment and site efficiencies are achieved. - Attending to planned and break down maintenance and the installation of equipment. - Perform all work safely, ensure legal compliance, complete risk assessments, develop safe work procedures prior to completion of work. - Attend to production and maintenance incidents and call outs. - Communication with the client. - Complete all inspections and reports, boiler house and equipment, boiler controls, optimizing boiler efficiencies, planned maintenance, and legal compliance of boiler plants, Requirements: QUALIFICATIONS - Millwright, Electrical trade certificate (preferably red seal) or Diploma in electrical engineering with a strong mechanical background. - Boiler operation and maintenance training certificates will be recognised. - Valid drivers licence. EXPERIENCE - At least five to ten years experience in a similar position, and industry. - A strong ability to Supervise boiler house staff or production staff. - Experience with 5Y analysis, fault finding, planned maintenance, repairs of electrical and mechanical equipment, (programming of PLC and drives, and equipment commissioning. - Competent in, reading of drawing, technical diagrams and the drawing of basic wiring diagram. - Computer literate and competent in MS Office programs and SharePoint - Experience of boiler servicing and commissioning will be advantageous. - Experience in project management.
