Minimum Requirements
Qualifications
- Grade 12 or equivalent NQF Level 4 qualification.
- A certificate or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, credit management, business administration, or a related field will be advantageous.
Experience
- Minimum 3–5 years' experience in credit control, debtors administration or accounts receivable.
- Experience within the healthcare or medical scheme environment will be advantageous.
- Experience managing debtor ageing, collections and payment allocations.
- Experience with financial and debtor management systems.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Knowledge
- Accounts receivable and credit control principles.
- Debtor management and cash collection strategies.
- Medical scheme billing and remittance processes.
- EDI claims processing.
- Financial reconciliations.
- POPIA and information governance.
- Internal financial controls.
- Accounting principles and debtor reporting.
Working conditions
- Office-based role within the Credit Control Department at National Renal Care Head Office.
- Frequent interaction with internal departments and external suppliers.
- High-volume transactional environment requiring accuracy and adherence to strict deadlines.
- Occasional overtime during month-end, financial year-end, audits, or business-critical reporting periods.
