Job Summary
Duties:
Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies that align with the business objectives, target market and competitive landscape, identifying opportunities for revenue growth and market expansion.
Oversee the brand identity and positioning, ensuring consistency in messaging, visual identity, and customer experience across all marketing channels and touchpoints.
Lead sales initiatives to drive revenue growth, including developing sales plans, setting targets, and monitoring performance, and implementing tactics to attract corporate clients, event planners, and affluent individuals.
Develop and execute marketing campaigns to promote the hotels offerings, special events, and promotions, utilizing a mix of traditional and digital channels to reach target audiences effectively.
Cultivate relationships with media outlets, influencers, and industry partners to generate positive publicity and media coverage for the hotel, pitching story ideas, coordinating press events, and managing media inquiries.
Implement customer relationship management (CRM) strategies to cultivate relationships with loyal patrons, gather feedback, and drive repeat business through personalized marketing initiatives and VIP programs.
Requirements:
High school Diploma
A formal hospitality / sales & marketing qualification
At least 3 – 5 years’ experience in a similar role in a 5* hotel environment
Strong African market experience
Proven leadership in revenue generation, and the ability to drive corporate, government, and MICE segments in a developing market environment.
