Job Summary
Duties:
Develop and implement comprehensive annual sales and marketing plans that align with the hotel’s business objectives and revenue targets.
Drive proactive and reactive sales efforts by identifying and securing new B2B accounts, corporate contracts, and group bookings.
Work closely with the General Manager and Revenue team to analyse market trends, establish yield strategies, and set competitive rates.
Recruit, train, mentor, and supervise the sales and events team to ensure they meet their individual and departmental KPIs.
Cultivate long-term relationships with key clients, travel agents, and community organizations to build brand loyalty and drive repeat business.
Monitor conversion rates, tracks market share, and prepares regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and ROI on marketing spend.
Key Performance Indicators:
Revenue Per Available Room (RevPAR) and Average Daily Rate (ADR)
Overall property revenue vs. budget and forecasts
Group room nights and banquet/event bookings
Conversion rates on proposals and site inspections
Account acquisition and pipeline growth
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Hospitality Management preferred.
Minimum 10 years industry experience in progressive sales roles, within the hospitality industry
Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
Deep knowledge of hospitality management systems (PMS), CRM software, and yield management principles.
Valid Driver’s Licence and Vehicle.
