This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional to contribute to strategic financial management and drive efficiency across the business.

Duties:

• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial reports
• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS
• Maintain audit readiness files and conduct payroll reconciliations
• Identify cost-reduction and process improvement opportunities
• Resolve accounting queries independently and submit reports to stakeholders on time
• Assist in developing budgets and periodic forecasts
• Collect, consolidate, and analyse departmental inputs for management reports
• Maintain and visualize performance dashboards using Power BI
• Ensure all journal entries are accurate, supported, and authorized
• Support financial system enhancements and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Compile, reconcile, and submit VAT returns, ensuring compliance with SARS
• Oversee payroll processing, reconciliations, and statutory obligations
• Coordinate audits and compile supporting evidence
• Facilitate timely payments, monitor cash flow, and strengthen payment controls
• Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reports
• Support system upgrades and automation initiatives
• Mentor junior staff and review their work

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Completed SAICA/SAIPA articles
• Strong IFRS knowledge
• Minimum 2 years post-articles experience in a corporate finance or accounting role
• Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Proficiency in SAP, Sage, Oracle, Excel, and Power BI
